Two people have died and several others have been injured following a collision involving a minibus taxi and a vehicle on the R55/N14 Interchange in Olivenhoutbosch north of Pretoria.
The cause of the collision is not yet known. And investigations are underway.
Gauteng Traffic Police spokesperson Obed Sibasa says, “It is alleged that two cars collided and a taxi went on its side. The intersection remains closed in both directions towards Krugersdorp or Midrand. We urge drivers to use alternative routes. That is the R28 towards Krugersdorp or the N1/M1 towards Midrand. Drive safely.”
