Two brothers gunned down during funeral service in Durban

Two people have been gunned down while attending a funeral service in Wentworth south of Durban.

Police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says the two brothers were attending a funeral service of a relative when they were shot at the gate of a church on Jagarnath Road in Wentworth.

“It is reported that the two deceased, who once lived in Wentworth but relocated to Gauteng province, were attending a funeral service of a relative when they were shot. They were rushed to the hospital, where they succumbed to their multiple gunshot injuries. The motive of the killing is yet to be established, and the suspects are unknown.”
