Two accused of murdering Limpopo traffic officer remanded in custody

Two people accused of murdering a senior traffic officer have been remanded in custody after appearing in the Mutale Magistrate’s Court outside Thohoyandou in Limpopo.

Rotshidzwa Munyai and Muano Nekhubvi are facing a murder charge.

They are accused of strangling Patrick Netshidzivhani to death.

The incident happened while the deceased was doing a routine training exercise around the Khunguni mountain in the Tshilamba area.

Netshidzivhani was initially reported missing.

Meanwhile, MEC for Transport and Community Safety Violet Mathye has visited Netshidzivhani’s family.
