A 75-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man have been granted bail after handing themselves over to the Hawks in Secunda, Mpumalanga.
Wilhemina Jacoba and Phakamani Hlongwane are allegedly linked to Pieter Grober and his family, who were earlier arrested for distributing rotten and expired food for human consumption.
The two accused, alongside the Grober family, are facing charges of contravention of the foodstuffs, corruption and fraud.
They are expected back in court next year, in February.
