City of Johannesburg MMC for Public Safety Mgcini Tshwaku has appealed to anyone with information on the murder of 14-year-old Likhona Fose to come forward.
Tshwaku made the plea during a memorial service for the teenager in Braamfischerville, Soweto.

Likhona went missing last Saturday and her mutilated body was found the following day in a veld, just metres from her home in Durban Deep, Roodepoort, west of Johannesburg.
Tshwaku says the case will be treated as a priority.
“We are going to be working with the patrollers in the area. So, any information that people have about this murder, they can actually contact us at the JMPD (Johannesburg Metro Police Department), ” says Tshwaku.
