Trump threatens to sue Trevor Noah after Epstein island visit joke

US President Donald Trump is threatening to sue Trevor Noah over comments the South African comedian made while hosting the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles Sunday night.

Trump posted on Truth Social in reference to a comment Noah made after Billie Eilish won the Grammy for Song of the Year.

Noah quipped that the Song of the Year Grammy was the one every artist wanted almost as much as Trump wanted Greenland, which he then said made sense because Jeffrey Epstein’s island was gone and that Trump needed a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton.

The Justice Department has released millions of filed related to the dead financier who died by suicide in jail in 2019.

Both Trump and Clinton appear in the files but have denied wrongdoing.

Trump called the Grammys the “worst and virtually unwatchable”, adding that he had never been to Epstein’s island, accusing Noah of making a defamatory statement, and warning that he’d send his lawyers to sue the comedian whom he referred to as a “poor, pathetic, talentless dope of an MC.”
