Trial of six men accused of Lusikisiki massacre postponed to Monday

The trial of six men accused of killing 18 people at Ngobozana village in Lusikisiki has been postponed until Monday next week.

This comes after the defence attorneys as well as accused No.: 1 Mzukisi Ndamase, who is self-represented, completed cross examining the first witness.

The state told the court that it did not prepare for other witnesses, as they did not know that the witness would finish his testimony today.

The state says the firearms used to kill the 18 deceased is positively linked to the same firearms used to kill the ANC Politician Mr Mncedisi Gijana.

Gijana was gunned down last year in his home, allegedly by three balaclava clad men heavily armed with rifles.
