AmaZulu King Misuzulu ka Zwelithini has re-appointed Thulasizwe Buthelezi as the AmaZulu Traditional Prime Minister.
Buthelezi is also the MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs in KwaZulu-Natal. He was removed from the position in December last year.
In a statement, the King says Buthelezi will provide leadership and administrative oversight on the affairs of the Zulu Kingdom.
The Zulu monarch also announced the establishment of the Prime Minister’s Executive Council that will strengthen relations between Amakhosi, traditional councils and governance structures.
