Three more suspects arrested in connection with missing journalist

The Mpumalanga police have arrested three additional suspects in the murder of journalist Aserie Ndlovu and his partner Zodwa Mdhluli in the early hours of this morning in Nokaneng village at KwaMhlanga.

Remains believed to be of the pair were discovered last week. However, DNA results are still pending.

Meanwhile, the court case of two people linked to the disappearance and murder of the couple has been postponed to next Monday for further investigation.

Police say the three suspects, aged between 23 and 43, were arrested in Nokaneng, bringing the total number of suspects to eight.

They are expected to appear at Kwa Mhlanga Magistrate’s Court tomorrow on charges of kidnapping, house robbery and hijacking.
