Three men have been gunned down in Khayelitsha on the Cape Flats.
They are aged between 29 and 43 years old.
Police spokesperson Andre Traut says a probe is underway.
“Detectives from the Provincial Serious and Violent Crime Unit are pursuing leads that could assist in identifying and locating the suspects responsible for the triple murder. At approximately 22:00 (on Thursday), SAPS members were alerted to the scene in Ntlazane Road where the bodies of the victims were discovered with multiple gunshot wounds. The motive for the attack is yet to be determined, and all investigative avenues are being explored to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
Another shooting incident in Gugulethu on the Cape Flats claimed the lives of three people on Wednesday night.
Police said the victims’ bodies were found inside a bedroom and that two other people who were wounded were taken to a medical facility for treatment.
