Inanda hacking suspects to appear in KZN court.
The twelve people arrested in connection with the hacking to death of five men in Bhambayi near Inanda north of Durban are expected to appear in the Ntuzuma Magistrates’ Court today.
It’s alleged that the accused dumped the bodies of the deceased at a local sports field in the area. The deceased are accused of being ‘hardcore’ criminals, who had been terrorizing the community for months on end.
Since the arrest of the 12 people on Friday, there has been a huge outcry for their release. The community has engaged in protest outside the local police station and are expected to picket outside court on Monday.
Members of the Inanda Community Policing Forum (CPF) have urged various stakeholders, including SAPS and local churches, to unite in their efforts to combat the scourge of crime. It follows the discovery of five men’s bodies in the area. SABC’s Simphiwe Makhanya has more. pic.twitter.com/vBhTUf99uZ
