Orlando Pirates have booked their spot in the MTN 8 final.
The Buccaneers, who reached their MTN 8 final in four successive seasons, beat Mamelodi Sundowns 4-1 in a penalty shootout after the two teams drew 1-all in regulation time.
Iqraam Rayners scored for the Brazilians in the first half, while Kamogelo Sebelebele equalized for the Buccaneers in the second half.
Teboho Mokoena and Marcelo Allende missed crucial spot kicks for Sundowns, while Lebo Mothiba scored their only spot kick.
Deon Hotto, Sipho Mbule, Abdul Mariko and Tshegofatso Mabasa converted for Pirates.
