EFF Spokesperson Sinawo Tambo says there is no conversation within the party about bringing Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi back.
This follows recent remarks by the leader of the party, Julius Malema, in which he applauded Ndlozi for not having joined any other party and for how he’s conducted himself since leaving the party, saying he was willing to roll out the red carpet should he want to come back.
Malema’s comments sparked speculation about whether the EFF was considering bringing back the erstwhile leader-turned radio show host.
“I think the president was making an example of the conduct of people who have left the EFF and speaking to the fact that Dr. Ndlozi has been different to others,” says Tambo.
“I’m not aware of any conversation, and I think that is up to him and whatever that he thinks he needs to do, but that example must never be misconstrued as any attempt to bring him back,” he adds.
Is there a conversation within the EFF to bring Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi back? All sort of speculations were triggered when EFF leader, Julius Malema, said recently he’d roll out the red carpet for him.
