Suspects after they were found with carcases of four cattle
KwaZulu-Natal police have arrested three suspects in Mondlo, in northern KwaZulu-Natal, after they were found with the carcasses of four cattle.
This follows an inter-disciplinary investigation by a team from Crime Prevention and Community Service Centre that were led by detectives in the Madresini area.
Police Spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says the matter was reported to the police and a team consisting of Crime Prevention and Community Service Centre officers led by detectives conducted an operation in Madresini area.
“During the operation, the three suspects were found in possession of four carcasses of the suspected stolen cattle. The suspects, aged 27, 38 and 39 years old, were due to appear in the Vryheid Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 02 December 2024 on charges of possession of suspected stolen cattle and stock theft.”
