A suspect has been arrested in connection with a triple murder in Delft on the Cape Flats.
Police Spokesperson Andre Traut says officers made the arrest after discovering three bodies in Gushindoda in the area yesterday morning.
Traut says the victims were gunned down and their bodies were set alight.
The suspect will appear in the Blue Downs Magistrate’s Court soon.
Traut says more arrests are imminent.
In a similar incident in Delft in September last year, Tando Sobekwa sustained multiple injuries to his body and was set alight.
Sobekwa’s naked body was discovered in an open field and he was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead upon arrival.
