Experienced Quinton De Kock gets the nod for the T20 World Cup
South African cricket coach Shukri Conrad has named his 15-player squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup to be held in India and Sri Lanka from the 7th of next month.
The only real surprise was the exclusion of batters Ryan Rickelton and Tristan Stubbs.

Aiden Markram will captain the side that includes seven players who’ll make their T20 World Cup debut.
Among them Dewald Brevis, Kwena Maphaka and Jason Smith.
Fast bowler Kagiso Rabada returns after missing the recent white-ball tour to India, while a fit-again Anrich Nortje has also been included.
He was the Proteas’ leading wicket-taker at the 2024 edition of the T20 World Cup, when they finished as runners up.
The likes of Quinton de Kock, David Miller and Keshav Maharaj add some experience to the squad with De Kock and Miller preferred over Rickelton and Stubbs.
