Tickets have sold out for this weekend’s Betway Premiership clash between defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria.
The top-of-the-table clash takes place on Saturday afternoon at the 51 000-capacity venue.
Log leaders Sundowns currently have a six-point advantage over second-placed Pirates, but they’ve played one match more than their nearest rivals.
The Brazilians have amassed 36 points from 13 matches and are on course to win their eighth league title in a row. But Pirates have proved to be competitive this season and are on 30 points from 12 matches.
The two sides have also scored the most number of goals so far this season and registered morale-boosting wins in their respective matches this past weekend.
Sundowns thumped Golden Arrows 4-nil in Pretoria, while Pirates narrowly beat bitter rivals Kaizer Chiefs 1-nil in the Soweto Derby at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.
Saturday’s match kicks off at half past three in the afternoon.
