CAF Champions League Trophy.
Former Mamelodi Sundowns forward Sibusiso Vilakazi believes it will require some magic from Downs to win the tie and become the first South African club to win a second CAF Champions League title.
Vilakazi is confident with Sundowns personnel to produce magical moments and add a second star to their jersey.
“Sundowns will have to be much focused to beat Pyramids F.C this evening. The Egyptian side capitalised on a lapse of concentration late in the first leg to snatch an away draw with the team’s persistence throughout the 90 minutes paying off like it did against Orlando Pirates.”
Meanwhile, Sundowns defender, Mothobi Mvala, says they are going to have to take the game by the scruff of the neck very early on when they play the second leg this evening.

“The Egyptian side scored four minutes into stoppage time in the first leg to snatch a 1-ALL draw at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria last Saturday to keep the tie wide open. We’re very focused and confident, whilst looking forward to this win. It’s something we’ve been dreaming of now we are in the finals, we’ll need to focus and kill this game very early.”
Downs were unbeaten in their last four visits to Egypt and unbeaten in their last 10 matches against Egyptian opposition.
