The Stormers who have had a pretty ordinary United Rugby Championship season so far, have ended 2024 on a high note.
The Capetonians who were languishing in 13th place on the log before today’s match, beat the Sharks 24-20 at the Cape Town stadium.
The home side bossed all departments, but only secured the win courtesy of a Jean-Luc du Plessis try in the 79th minute.
It was their fourth try of the match, while the Sharks, who led 10-five at half time, could only score two.
