Stormers celebrate after getting a try in a game against Sale Sharks.
The Stormers scored a morale-boosting 40-points-to-nil win, which lifted their foot off their Champions Cup pool, when they thrashed the Sale Sharks with a bonus point in Cape Town this afternoon.
After losses to Toulon and Harlequins, the Stormers needed a bonus point win against Sale, a feat they achieved with more than 20 minutes still to play.

The Cape side scored six tries on the day, with Sale scoring nothing. The result puts them in contention for a place in the round of 16 of the Champions Cup.
The Stormers will now travel to Paris to face Racing 92 next Saturday evening.
