Stellenbosch FC have suffered their second defeat in the CAF Confederation Cup after going down 3-1 to RS Berkane of Morocco.
Stellies are bottom of Group B with no points, after losing their opening match late last month.
The visitors who are top of Group B had a dream start taking the lead as early as the fourth minute through Youssef Zghoudi.
Zghoudi doubled Berkane’s lead in the 15th minute.
The Moroccan club led 2-0 at the break.
Substitute Reda Hajji put the issue beyond doubt with a long range strike late in the match.
Chumani Butsaka got a consolation goal for Stellenbosch, their first in the group stage of the Confederation Cup late in the match.
