Stellenbosch FC lost 2-0 against TS Galaxy in the Betway Premiership
Stellenbosch FC suffered their 6th loss of the season when they went 2-0 down to TS Galaxy in the Betway Premiership match played at the Mbombela Stadium, Sunday afternoon.
Galaxy got a goal in each half to cement their place in the top 8 bracket, as they climbed to 6th spot on the log. Stellies are still 14th on the log with just 9 points after 10 games this season.
The Cape Winelands team is experiencing a bad patch, having only won 2 matches in the league.

Both sides wanted to return to winning ways after losing in the quarter-finals of the Carling Knockout.
TS Galaxy lost 2-1 to Golden Arrows last Sunday, whilst Stellenbosch FC were thrashed 4-nil by Marumo Gallants on Wednesday evening.
It was a dream start for the homeside with Seluleko Mahlambi scoring in the 7th minute of the encounter.
The 14th placed Stellies were desperate for maximum points to move away from the relegation zone, and the 8th placed.
Galaxy were aiming to cement their place in the top eight bracket.
Galaxy keeper Ira Tape denied Stellies an equaliser in the 12th minute.
Mpho Mvelase nearly made it 2-nil in the 16th minute, but Stellies keeper Sage Stephens was quick to react.
The visitors kept on pressing forward in search of an equaliser. But it was still 1-nil at half-time.
Galaxy nearly extended their lead early in the second half, but a goal-bound shot by Junior Zindoga was cleared not far from the goal line.
Tape produced a brilliant save in the 58th minute to deny Lehlohonolo Mojela.
There was drama when Sanele Barns scored an own goal from a rebound that came off the crossbar in the 62nd minute.
Both sides gave their all towards the end, but the match ended 2-nil.
