Springboks thrash Argentina 67-30, claim top spot in Championship


The Springboks have moved to the top of the Rugby Championship standings with a comprehensive 67-30 victory over Argentina in Durban.

Bok flyhalf, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, contributed 37 points, which included a hat-trick, as South Africa ran in nine tries to three. He has also moved past Percy Montgomery to top the all-time list in points scored by a Springbok in a single test.

In their final matches of the competition, the Boks will face the Pumas at Twickenham in London next weekend, while Australia will host New Zealand in Perth.

The South Africans now top the standings with 15 points, followed by the All Blacks on 14. Australia are third on 11 points, two more than Argentina.
