Six people, arrested for alleged manufacturing and dealing in illicit drugs, are expected to appear at the Standerton Court in Mpumalanga on Monday.
The Hawks pounced on the suspects at a warehouse and a farm in the area. Chemicals and machinery found at both locations were confiscated. The value of the recovered substances and machinery is estimated to be R20 million.
Mpumalanga Hawks Head Nico Gerber says a number of drug-related cases have been reported in Standerton.
