Italy’s Jannik Sinner celebrates with the trophy after winning the men’s final against Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz
Italy’s world number one Jannik Sinner beat defending champion Carlos Alcaraz 4-6 6-4 6-4 6-4 to win the Wimbledon men’s title on Sunday.
Sinner won his first Wimbledon title to take his overall Grand Slam tally to four.

In the women’s final on Saturday, Poland’s Iga Swiatek beat American Amanda Anisimova 6-0 6-0 in the final to also win her first Wimbledon title.
The Polish eighth seed completed the most lopsided of finals to win her sixth Grand Slam title
