Sibiya denies interacting with Ntanzi the day Senzo Meyiwa was killed


Accused number one in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial, Muzi Sibiya, says there was no interaction or communication between himself and accused number two, Bongani Ntanzi, on the day the soccer captain was killed.

Sibiya is back on the witness stand at the High Court in Pretoria where he is on trial with four of his co-accused.

They are charged with the Meyiwa’s murder in 2014 in Vosloorus on Gauteng’s East Rand.

Sibiya, who admitted to knowing Ntanzi, claims they are not friends.

Ramosepele: “Did you have any personal interactions or telephonic interactions With Mr Ntanzi during the year 2014 and specifically for the date of the 26th of October 2014? Did you telephonically, personally or otherwise communicate with Mr Ntanzi?”

Sibiya: “No, that never happened.”

Ramosepele: “And did you, during the year 2014 and specifically on the 26th of October 2014, have the contact number of Mr Ntanzi saved on your phone?”

Sibiya: “No.”
