Suspended Deputy National Police Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya is expected to appear before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry on Wednesday.
The Commission was postponed on Monday morning after Witness F was hospitalised.
Witness F and other witnesses have linked Lieutenant-General Shadrack Sibiya to attempted murder accused, Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala.
Evidence leader Matthew Chaskalson presented the application for postponement before the Commission.
He said: “Witness F has been hospitalised and is not available today (Monday, February 16). There is an application for postponement. The medical certificate on the last page of that application, annexure I2, records that Witness F will not be available at least until 25th February. We have looked at our calendar, and the earliest available date that we have after 25th February would be 16th March.”
