The murder case of Sibusiso Zitha convicted of murdering pastry chef, Thembekile Letlape, has been postponed to Thursday by the High Court in Johannesburg.
This is to allow the court more time to go through the victim impact report.
Zitha was arrested after Letlape’s lifeless body was discovered at their place of residence in Fourways north of Johannesburg last year.
Her father, former Health Professions Council of South Africa President and ActionSA MP Dr Kgosi Letlape found her body.
Zitha pleaded guilty to the murder where he admitted to stabbing her multiple times during an argument.
Judge Shanaaz Mia rolled over the matter.
“The matter has been postponed to the 18th of September 2025 for sentence in the matter. Evidence to be led in that regard. The accused is in custody with no bail.”
