Sentencing in Limpopo influencer fraud case set for next week

Social media influencer Livhuwani Madadzhe will be back in the High Court in Thohoyandou, Limpopo, on Monday next week. Madadzhe appeared in court on Monday and the matter was postponed.

He is accused of fraud after allegedly faking his mother’s death and killing his partner, Lindelani Nengovhela.

Nengovhela’s body was found in a water-filled disused pit toilet at the couple’s home in Mangondi village outside Thohoyandou in 2023.

The court was set to hand down sentencing in the fraud case against Madadzhe.

He pleaded guilty to the two charges. However, Judge Thogomelani Tshidada postponed the matter to Monday next week for finalisation of sentencing.
