A second suspect arrested in connection with a double murder at the Inxiweni primary school in Thembisa, Ekurhuleni is expected to appear in the local magistrates’ court this morning.
The suspect was arrested on Friday for the murder of principal Ruth Tabu and administrative clerk Nobantu Njombini.
The 58 years old Tabu and 55-year-old Njombini were shot and killed inside the school’s administrative block on the evening of 18 November 2025.
The first suspect a 26-year-old female works as a Financial Clerk at the school was arrested the next day and appeared in court on the 21st November 2025, an alleged hitman was arrested was also arrested on the 21st.
The 26-year-old female school employee is accused of hiring the alleged hitman after she was questioned about a transactions amounting to more than R52 000 from the school account to her personal account.
