KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi says a second person has been taken in for questioning in the manhunt for three men linked to the murder of Olorato Mongale.
The body of the 30-year-old master’s student was found in Lombardy West, Johannesburg, on Sunday.
Mkhwanazi says a mother of a suspect has now been taken in for questioning after she allegedly tipped her son off that the police were looking for him.

Yesterday, the task team investigating the murder took the father of a suspect in for questioning, whose car has been positively linked to the murder.
Mkhwanazi says the investigation is at a sensitive stage.
“Well, we are still hunting. As I say, the team is still on the ground. I don’t want to repeat much because we are in a sensitive stage of the investigation. There are still some of the people we know who are the main ones that are involved, we are still tracing their movements. We are monitoring currently,” say Mkhwanazi.
