Search and rescue efforts are under way for a missing aircraft in Mpumalanga and in the Kingdom of eSwatini.
A Cessna 206 that took off on Thursday afternoon from King Mswati III International Airport in Eswatini went missing en route to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, in Mbombela.
The Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Centre is coordinating the search and rescue.
Meanwhile, the ARCC says a preliminary report into the cause of the two plane crashes in KwaZulu-Natal will be released in 30 days’ time with the investigation being under way.
The chief of the Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Centre, Gregory Critchley, says one of the two light aircraft missing along the misty Nottingham Road in Howick in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands has been located.

Two pilots were killed and the aircraft located.
Chief of Operations, Gregory Critchley says their investigation will be in conjunction with the South African Police Service (SAPS).
