Some of the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) child support grant beneficiaries in the Vhembe district in Limpopo are concerned that they did not receive the grants this month.
They say they have not received any communication from SASSA.
Spokesperson for SASSA in the district, Mavhungu Tshipuke, says they are reviewing some beneficiaries to confirm if they are still eligible.
He has advised the affected beneficiaries to go to the SASSA offices to resolve the matter.
“There are individuals we are busy reviewing to check if their details are in order, especially the issue of life certificate. These individuals must come to our offices to check if they are still alive. You will realise that all SASSA beneficiaries should be reviewed every year as they receive their grants from the bank.”
