Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Kenneth Morolong, says there is a need to use South Africa’s G20 presidency to promote the country to the world.
Morolong was speaking at Brand SA’s Nation Brand Forum underway in Johannesburg. The theme for this year’s gathering is Forging Partnerships to Advance Global Competitiveness.
Morolong says their role as the Presidency is to curate a positive brand perception for the whole country and foster lasting relationships globally.
“It has become a strategic platform where stakeholders are afforded an opportunity to engage the current nation brand issues. To celebrate and share knowledge and experiences. But most importantly to share the best ways to market and communicate the country’s image across the world.”
“Achieving a globally-competitive Nation Brand, will require all stakeholders to play their part in managing the brand reputation of South Africa”, says the Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Min. Kenneth Morolong.
