National Commissioner of the Police, General Fannie Masemola says he is looking forward to tackling crime and ensuring safer communities in partnership with Business Against Crime South Africa (BACSA) and other stakeholders.
The SAPS have signed a partnership with BACSA to improve security measures in several sectors.
This comes ahead of the 3-day National Policing Summit that will be addressed by President Cyril Ramaphosa on Tuesday.
Masemola was speaking at the Ministerial Business Commitment Dinner in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni. This event is designed to showcase the growing and impactful collaboration between business and law enforcement.
“We are looking forward to what you’re going to assist us with. We are delighted that we have signed a partnership tonight. And we say we are going to make use of what we are getting from you as the businessm,” says Masemola.
