SANDF and SAPS deployment in WC
Some residents of Tafelsig in Mitchell’s Plain on the Cape Flats are upbeat about the deployment of members of the South African National Defense Force (SANDF) to their area.
They’re hopeful that they will begin to feel safe. The soldiers have joined the police in conducting a search operation in Tafelsig.
They’re targeting houses at which there are suspected drug dealers and gang members to search for illegal firearms.

A relieved resident has welcomed the deployment of the soldiers.
” I wish they can be here more often for us going to work. in the early hours of the morning. I really feel at ease especially because they are coming here for the first time.
