The family of the late South African National Defence Force (SANDF) Brigadier-General Joseph Manyatsa has described him as a peace-loving man who respected other people.
Brigadier Manyatsa died of natural causes last month.
He will be buried in Botshabelo in the Free State later today.
The deceased’s son, Mosa Manyatsa, says, “He taught us at a very young age that you need to love your family. Let it be good times or bad times. You need to have each other’s backs. You might fight now, but at the end of the day, you cannot go to bed without sorting out whatever was going on between the two of you. He was a very loving person. He was a very respected person. He was very loyal to his family, and he would sacrifice his character for anyone.”
