SANCO hopes law enforcement find ANC branch leader’s killers

The South African National Civic Organisation (SANCO) says it is pinning hopes on law enforcement agencies to find Sipho Simiso Dlamini’s killers, the convener of an African National Congress (ANC) branch in the eThekwini region.

Dlamini was gunned down in Umgababa south of Durban on Saturday night.

SANCO, an ally of the ANC, described Dlamini as a selfless leader who devoted his life to serving the community.

Regional Secretary of SANCO in the eThekwini Siyabonga Gcabashe says Dlamini was a selfless and committed comrade of the ANC.

“His own mother told me that as a family, they did not have time with him because most of his time was dedicated to the ANC, even on his day of departure he was coming from the program of the ANC, that’s how committed he was to the organisation and the alliance itself. We want to leave all this to the state security and we are hoping that they will do justice to the family and to the ANC,” says Gcabashe.
