Launch of the initiative
Microsoft and the public broadcaster have launched an Artificial Intelligence (AI) service on the SABC Plus platform.
This was announced at Microsoft’s AI Tour 2026 conference happening at the Sandton Convention Centre.
The collaboration works in which Microsoft provides key information around Artificial Intelligence on the SABC Plus platform.
The aim is to educate South Africans, especially the youth, on the basics of AI to empower them to have a fundamental understanding of its principles in away where the world of work and industries are going to be underpinned by AI.
