Women’s Proteas Cricket Team win third ODI of four in Pakistan series in Lahore.
The South African women’s cricket team has clinched the three-match One Day International (ODI) series against Pakistan.
On Friday night, the Proteas won the second ODI in Lahore by 25 runs.
The visitors who were sent in to bat made 292 for three in 46 overs with opener Tazmin Brits scoring a career-best, unbeaten 171.
It was her second consecutive unbeaten century of the series.
Brits and captain Laura Wolvaardt put on 260 runs for the first wicket, with Wolvaardt scoring a hundred.
Pakistan’s target was adjusted to 313 in the rain-interrupted match and they were bowled out for 287 in the 45th over.
The third and final match of the series is on Monday, also at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
