President Ramaphosa delivering SONA 2026
President Cyril Ramaphosa says the South African nation is stronger than it was a year ago and this is clear from economic growth that is gathering pace.
Ramaphosa is delivering his State of the Nation Address to a joint sitting in Cape Town. He says the country has recorded four consecutive quarters of GDP growth in the last year.
The President says South Africa is also on a clear path to stabilising the national debt.

However, Ramaphosa says for too many people, life remains difficult.
He says crime, service delivery and joblessness remain major concerns for many South Africans.
