Ramaphosa is advancing the country’s Presidency of the G20 and enhancing bilateral economic engagements with the government of Japan with a view to strengthening trade and investment ties between the two countries.

He says South Africa welcomes anyone who wants to invest in the country.

Ramaphosa says, “Japan has been in South Africa and investing in South Africa for years and China has been our friend as well, and is also investing and we welcome both, because both are beneficial to us.”

He addss, “We will never say we love you better than the other one. We embrace both and both must invest, and deal with us to the best they can.”
