President Cyril Ramaphosa has assured world leaders at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, that South Africa is an attractive investment destination.

Ramaphosa addressed the 55th WEF annual meeting yesterday, where he highlighted a stable supply of energy as one of his administration’s recent achievements.

He says South Africa offers investors numerous benefits including political stability following the formation of the Government of National Unity (GNU).

Ramaphosa says, “Another of South Africa’s plans for its G20 Presidency is to harness critical minerals for inclusive growth and development. We need a G20 framework on the Green Industrialisation and investments to ensure progress towards grand bargain that promotes value addition to critical minerals particularly close to the source of extraction.”
