SA fans set for Super Sunday as two national teams chase big wins

South African sports enthusiasts are in for another treat on this Super Sunday.

Two National teams are hoping to do what the World Champions Springboks failed to do in Auckland on Saturday, to fly the flag of the Rainbow Nation.

The Springbok Women take on France in a Pool D decider at the Women’s Rugby World Cup in Northampton just before five this afternoon.

Both teams have already secured their spots in the quarterfinals of the tournament.

However, the result will determine who plays who in the last eight, with the mighty New Zealand and Ireland waiting in the next round.

The South African men’s cricket team is eyeing a clean sweep in the One-Day International series against England in Southampton.

The Proteas have an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

The match is scheduled to start at noon.

Apart from those two events, there’s also a Formula One Grand Prix at Monza in Italy and a MotoGP Grand Prix in Barcelona to look forward to.
