Rand Water technicians doing repair work
Rand Water says it will complete the second phase of its maintenance work on ageing infrastructure on Sunday evening.
Earlier, some Johannesburg residents expressed frustration over the continuing water outages in the city.

This after the maintenance work affecting reservoir levels, causing water supply disruptions.
“We have completed the first phase of the maintenance, which started last week Saturday and was completed on Monday. So now we are going into the second phase, the first phase went very well,” says Rand Water spokesperson, Makenosi Maroo.
She says that a number of areas have been recovered and some of them are still coming along in terms of full recovery.
“The second phase started on Friday and it will be completed Sunday, at midnight,” adds Maroo.
