Ramaphosa White House delegation to include four ministers

The South African Presidency has confirmed the delegation to accompany President Cyril Ramaphosa on his visit to the White House in the US next week.

The group includes four Cabinet Ministers. Presidential spokesperson Vincent Magwenya has confirmed that the following Ministers will travel to Washington DC; Ronald Lamola of International Relations and Cooperation, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni in the Presidency responsible for State Security, Parks Tau of Trade, Industry & Competition and John Steenhuisen of Agriculture.

President Ramaphosa is due to meet with President Trump at the White House on Wednesday in an effort to reset the bilateral relationship on a number of fronts including trade and tariffs, geo political concerns, Ukraine and Gaza in the main and G20 collaboration after Trump threatened not travel to South Africa for the Leaders Summit later this year over alleged genocide concerns targeting Afrikaners.
