ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa will deliver the eulogy at the funeral of ANC Women’s League deputy, Lungi Mnganga-Gcabashe, at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli ICC in Durban. Mnganga-Gcabashe passed away last week at the age of 64 after a short illness.

The funeral will begin with tributes from family members, National Assembly Speaker Thoko Didiza, and leaders from the ANC and its alliance partners.
The ANC has gathered at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, to pay final respects and bid farewell to the ANC Women’s League Deputy President, Comrade Lungi Mnganga-Gabashe.

Earlier, her neighbour Sthembiso Mshenhu paid tribute, describing her as a humble and dedicated community member.
“Our departed neighbour was very kind and loving. You wouldn’t even notice she was a Member of Parliament or deputy president of such a huge organisation. She was involved in all community activities. We have lost a pillar of our neighbourhood.”
Mnganga-Gcabashe is remembered for her commitment to grassroots development and service to the people.
