Nurses during COVID-19 vaccination drive

President Cyril Ramaphosa will this morning address the Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa’s (DENOSA) 9th congress at Birchwood in Boksburg on the East Rand.
The congress will deal with issues related to the implementation of the National Health Insurance (NHI) and conditions under which nurses will work.
It will also look at post-COVID-19 pandemic health challenges and the decision of the United States (US) to withdraw aid for HIV/AIDS programmes.
The three-day congress will end on Friday.
Over 700 delegates are expected to attend.
The African National Congress (ANC) Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula and Health Minister Dr. Aaron Motsoaledi will also attend the congress.
