Excited fans of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Inter Milan arrived in Munich on Thursday, two days before their teams will face each other in the final of the Champions League.

PSG fan Naim Crouchon, who has been a fan of the club for eight years, is hoping for his team to finally lift the trophy.

“Every year it’s a loss. We hope that this year we’ll finally have our time, we all believe it. Because this year is different,” he said.

Saturday could be the first time his team will win a Champions League title.

Inter Milan fan Atilio Treviso meanwhile will watch the game with his children, also Inter fans.

“Of course I will be in the fan curve section of Inter. It will be a great pleasure for me to celebrate. We hope to win the Cup,” said Atilio.

Other fans and curious onlookers were interested in seeing the Champions League trophy up close. Presented by former professional footballer Andres Iniesta, who lifted the trophy four times himself during his time playing for FC Barcelona, fans had the chance to take pictures in front of a giant version of the trophy their teams will be fighting for on Saturday.
