The women Proteas beat their West Indies counterpart by 40 runs in Barbados early Sunday morning to level the three-match ODI series one-all.
Player of the Match, Sunee Luus, contributed 76 runs off 65 deliveries, while Nondumiso Shangase recorded a half century in South Africa’s innings of 309 for nine in 50 overs.
In reply, the Windies were bowled out for 269 in 50 overs with left-arm spinner Nonkululeko Mlaba taking four for 30 in ten overs.
The third and final match of the series is on Tuesday, also in Barbados.
